Overview
Phar Merica is recruiting an Account Executive for the Dallas, TX market to support continued business expansion. This role is part of the Business Development and Sales organization, which focuses on creating strategic solutions that strengthen and grow Phar Merica’s market presence.
Location & TravelRemote with 50‑75% travel. Candidates must be able to reside within a commutable distance to Dallas, TX.

Monday – Friday; hours depend on business needs.

Position eligible for a commission plan.
Responsibilities- Work with RVP of Sales to evaluate and qualify new business opportunities for profitability and strategic impact.
- Identify business opportunities through sales calls, referrals, targeting reports and CRM; communicate with skilled nursing, assisted living, subacute and managed care organizations to assess market needs.
- Finalize contracting, coordinate startup of new accounts, and transition account services to pharmacy operations.
- Use marketing segmentation information to develop strategic territory plans and execute them to budget time effectively and target high‑potential prospective customers.
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing support and value through products and services.
- Communicate with other pharmacy team members (Account Manager, consultant pharmacist, pharmacy staff) to uncover leads and resolve customer service concerns.
- Complete sales, reporting and contracting for new business and other administrative procedures as directed by RVP of Sales.
- Successfully complete all components of sales training and implement sales processes and procedures (e.g., pre‑call planning).
- Participate in local, state and national industry trade shows as required to grow area of responsibility.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

- Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Long Term Care experience preferred.
- Minimum two years of prior sales experience.
- Three to five years of healthcare sales, medical equipment sales, consumer products and services/solutions sales experience a plus.
- Experience selling and negotiating contracts for products and services a plus.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and willing to travel 75%.
- Results oriented, adaptable, product/service knowledgeable, organized, and possess good oral communication skills.
