Health Key is building AI infrastructure that helps clinical research organizations identify eligible trial patients faster by eliminating the need for manual chart review. By combining artificial intelligence with real-world healthcare workflows, Health Key helps research sites accelerate patient enrollment, reduce administrative burden, and improve operational efficiency at scale.
They're hiring one of the first Account Executives to join their Austin team. This is not a traditional AE role where leads are handed to you. You'll be responsible for sourcing, prospecting, qualifying, demoing, and closing your own opportunities while helping build the go-to-market playbook from the ground up.

Responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Generate and manage your own outbound pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, and strategic prospecting
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations
- Manage pilots through successful conversion to long-term customers
- Consistently exceed activity and revenue targets
- Attend industry conferences and events to generate pipeline and build relationships
- Partner closely with leadership to refine messaging, processes, and sales strategy
- Help build the foundation that future Account Executives and SDRs will inherit
- 3-8 years of sales experience with a strong SDR/BDR and Account Executive foundation
- Proven history of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth
- Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation experience
- Experience managing deals from initial outreach through close
- Hunter mentality with a passion for creating opportunities rather than waiting for them
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and operating in an activity-driven environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build a company at an early stage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or enterprise software is a plus
- Willingness to work in-person in Austin and travel for conferences as needed
- Former SDRs/BDRs who earned their way into closing roles
- Account Executives who still enjoy prospecting and building pipeline
