Responsibilities
The Community Liaison directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies, creating demand for the facility’s services through ethical marketing principles and sales methods, presenting a professional public image within the community, implementing the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the brand, managing assigned territory and accounts, and achieving business development goals.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, excellent verbal and written skills, ability to work independently and set priorities, ability to develop creative marketing ideas, travel to referral sources and other healthcare institutions required.
Physical Requirements: Irregular and long hours may be required occasionally. Exposure to patients and their conditions. Extensive travel. Lifting and loading twenty pound boxes and fifty pound display boards.
