Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced financial services sales representative to help set the standards for identifying and converting new business at Vestwell through financial advisors. This role will manage the full sales cycle in your assigned territory to promote Vestwell's growth in the financial advisor marketplace. The position is based in our Austin, TX or New York, NY office.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and develop a healthy lead prospecting practice and maintain a high conversion rate.
  • Create consistency in lead generation, grow and maintain relationships to drive pipeline.
  • Develop repeat regional relationships with new financial advisor prospects.
  • Maintain a robust retirement plan sales pipeline in your region.
  • Convert plan opportunities into closed‑won opportunities through a repeatable, scalable process.
  • Practice a proven and successful sales methodology (MEDDPICC).
  • Consistently hit KPIs month over month, including quota and performance metrics.
  • Work in collaboration with regional RVPs to support repeat advisors and small market solutions in the territory.
  • Support the regional RVP on any prospecting needs.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in retirement, Fin Tech, payroll, or a similar industry.
  • Ability to carry a plan sale over the entire sales cycle from prospecting to conversion.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (e.g., Rep of the year, Quota club).
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating a top‑notch selling environment and process.
  • A hunter with a proven track record of forecasting and executing new sales through a repeatable and scalable process and pipeline.
  • Self‑starter who can operate well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce and comfort with other sales technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Startup and/or financial services experience.
  • Understanding of the defined contribution space.
Compensation

The expected OTE is approximately $82K ($65K base + up to $17K variable). This position is eligible for the Company Bonus Pool and new‑hire equity.
