What You’d Be Doing In This RoleAs Canva scales, the change continues to be part of our DNA. This role will give you a taste of the type of work you’ll be doing, and will evolve over time.
At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On- Own the Public Sector & Healthcare lifecycle—strategy, planning, execution, and results within identified governments and healthcare institutions alongside a Customer Success Manager to drive additional MAU growth.
- Foster relationships within your account—onboard accounts and provide strategic sales support to ensure a successful deployment of Canva across multiple departments and cross‑functional implementations.
- Focus on the Public Sector & Healthcare community—run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy.
- Understand the Canva user lifecycle—establish close relationships with our passionate community of Public Sector & Healthcare users to know what they need to become successful Canva users.
- Identify trends and usage patterns—utilize data analysis to inform future product and marketing plans.
- Drive retention and engagement—continuously test, learn, and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at our identified customers to build meaningful and impactful relationships.
- Enterprise Sales Experience—3+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive with a strong track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth within large organizations.
- Experience with the Government and/or Healthcare Market—understanding of Public Sector efficiency solutions and the ability to communicate how Canva can improve visual design literacy.
- Sales Expertise—comfortable selling government software solutions combined with real‑world design experience to drive MAU growth.
- Excellent Collaboration Skills—enjoy working alongside your direct team and with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Implementing new Technologies—deep understanding of how government institutions roll out new technology and how organisation‑wide deployments operate.
- Effective Communication Skills—create clarity through communication, making complex things simple, and confidently presenting ideas and compelling stories to customers and the broader team.
- Strong Business Planning Skills—capable of moving from planning all the way through to implementation and delivering high‑impact projects.
- Experience in Community Management—understanding of social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences.
- Growth Mindset—eager to learn and develop skills while having fun along the way.
- Bonus:
French language skills—especially for engaging with francophone communities in Canada.
