Position Overview

Our continued growth has produced a need for a dedicated Life Safety Sprinkler Systems Sales Executive / Fire Sprinkler Service Representative to cover the Austin Territory. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will professionally represent the company, estimate and quote fire sprinkler systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities, and build new business relationships to grow the sprinkler service business.

Responsibilities
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Stay close to the work to identify and remove obstacles for customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major customers and contractors with the prime objective of negotiating and closing quality orders.
  • Foster trust and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
  • Engage in continuous learning and problem‑solving to refine your approach.
  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Take ownership with integrity and accountability to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience in sprinkler system sales or a similar field.
  • Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations, preferred.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding current NFPA 13 standards and local codes.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and organize work.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including operating systems like Windows and Oracle systems.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a team player; must be able to work well with others.
