Selling Demo Representative

As a Selling Demo Representative, you'll sell products through various selling and hospitality events to educate and inform Customers of product features to drive customer engagement and sales. Key responsibilities include connecting with Customers, building a sense of community, and driving loyalty. You'll create an atmosphere of celebration by participating in total store events, engaging Customers with enthusiasm, sharing product knowledge, samples, and savings/value information, and finding opportunities to surprise and delight Customers.

You'll provide excellent customer service, answer product-related questions, help Customers locate merchandise, and prepare products for use in demonstrations/samplings. You'll also review daily sales reports and understand success metrics. In terms of food safety/sanitation, you'll ensure compliance with federal, state, and H-E-B food safety regulations/standards and department SOPs daily, maintain a professional, clean, healthy, and safe work environment, and clean up workstation area.

Qualifications include being 18+ years old, having experience in sales or customer service, and knowledge of sales or product demonstration (preferred). You'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate all product ingredients and recipe components to inform Customers with allergy or dietary concerns, ability to read and interpret documents, and ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects.

You'll also need a passion for customer service and hospitality. Physical demands include constantly standing, reaching at waist, and grasping, occasionally walking, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. You'll also need to be occasionally exposed to cold & hot temperatures, loud noise, wet conditions, and demonstrate the ability to lift 35 lbs and manage more than 25 lbs.
