Summary

Lead sales and customer experiences at the beauty counter, delivering personalized makeup and skincare services while maximizing sales performance. Act as both salesperson and educator, building customer relationships in-store and through digital channels.

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools, including text and social media.
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions to drive traffic and sales.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
• Train, coach, and collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Maintain counter appearance, organization, and cleanliness to ensure a customer-ready presentation.
• Use networking and technology to build a customer following and drive repeat business.

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with a drive to achieve sales goals.
• Flexible availability based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours, bend, reach, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Prior retail or beauty counter sales experience preferred.
