Howyou'll make an impact
- Act as client’s advocate and main point of contact.
- Liaise with internal departments and decision makers.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients.
- Keep client informed of all day‑to‑day changes, billing or enrollment issues, compliance information, etc.
- Ensures accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
- Stays abreast of current news, legislation, technologies and trends in the employee benefits industry.
- Drives renewal process from beginning to end including reporting, quote request submission, & coordination with internal departments.
- Develop expertise on legislation pertaining to government contracting.
- Assists in the open enrollment process and all activities with the client, vendors and internal departments.
- Renew and grow book of business.
- Travel to client offices on a regular basis.
- Follow the company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to SOC controls, and HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations.
- Constant strive for growth for current book are integral to bringing in new accounts for the Company as well as maintaining positive relationships with existing clients and growing those accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an account management role preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience.
- Experience in the employee benefits industry a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Group 1 insurance license (must have or obtain in the first 90 days of employment).
- Regular national travel required.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
