This is an ON-CALL, PART-TIME position with NO GUARANTEED HOURS.
Hours and assignments will depend entirely on business needs and scheduled events. Candidates may work up to 20 hours per week; however, there is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours each week.
- An on-call work arrangement with no guaranteed weekly hours
- Traveling to assigned benefit fairs/events
- Using your own reliable transportation
- Maintaining a valid driver's license
The Benefit Educator will support benefit fairs, enrollment events, and other scheduled activities by educating employees/members about available benefits and helping them understand benefit-related information.
This position requires a professional, customer-focused individual who is comfortable communicating with different groups of people and traveling to assigned event locations as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend assigned benefit fairs, enrollment events, and other scheduled events.
- Educate employees/members regarding available benefits and benefit-related information.
- Clearly explain benefit information and answer general questions.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during events.
- Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain a professional presence while representing the organization at events.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines when communicating benefit information.
- Travel to assigned event locations as required.
- Be flexible with scheduling based on event and business needs.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with people.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate benefit-related information.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work an on-call schedule based on business needs.
- Must be comfortable with no guaranteed weekly hours.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be comfortable traveling to assigned locations/events as required.

- Ability and willingness to travel to assigned locations as needed
Mileage/fuel reimbursement may be provided for eligible business travel according to applicable guidelines.
