Benefit Educator

Client by Evernorth is seeking professional and engaging Benefit Educators to support benefit fairs and client events. This is a client-facing, on-call position designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and representing a trusted pharmacy benefit services organization. Benefit Educators serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource, helping attendees understand their pharmacy benefits, answering high-level questions, and directing individuals to appropriate resources.

Employment Type:

Contingent / As Needed. No guaranteed hours. Work assignments based on client demand and event volume.

• Deliver positive and informative experiences for attendees at benefit fairs and events.
• Increase awareness and engagement regarding pharmacy benefits.
• Answer high-level pharmacy benefit questions and connect individuals with appropriate resources.
• Distribute educational and promotional materials.
• Complete required post-event feedback following each assignment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Attend annual Evernorth training to build foundational knowledge of the organization and educator role.
• Participate in a 30–60 minute account-specific training session at least 48 hours before each assigned event.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable engaging individuals one-on-one and in small group settings. Professional presence in customer-facing environments. Customer service or public-facing experience preferred. Familiarity with benefits or insurance information is a plus — health insurance, pharmacy benefits, Medicare, benefits enrollment, insurance licensed agents, benefits counselors, member services. Ability to travel locally and maintain reliable transportation. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
