Area Sales Director/Manager – Healthcare Diagnostics

📍 Must reside in Austin or San Antonio

We’re seeking an Area Sales Director/Manager to build and lead a new sales team in Texas for a rapidly growing laboratory sciences company specializing in toxicology and compliance testing. You’ll be both a hunter and a player‑coach, driving growth while leading your team from the front. The territory covers Austin, San Antonio, Lubbock, OK, KS.

• Lead, hire, and develop up to 5 Regional Sales Managers.
• Spend 3+ days/week in the field with your team (ride‑alongs, coaching, celebrating wins).
• Drive 80% new business / 20% account management in pain clinics, behavioral health, and substance abuse facilities.
• Execute sales strategy and build long‑term client relationships.
• Partner with leadership on territory growth and revenue goals.

• 5+ years in healthcare/medical sales (diagnostics or medical device a plus).
• Previous Diagnostics and Management experience required
• Proven hunter with pipeline management and closing success.
• Strong leadership/player‑coach background (minimum 2+ years).
• Career tenure and stability (not a job hopper).
• Organized, energetic, competitive, and ready to hustle.
