Job Description & How to Apply Below

Ready to lead the charge and own your book of business in a high-stakes, consultative sales environment?

Job Summary:

We are looking for a relentless, consultative Business Development Manager / Account Executive to join our team in Austin. We connect top engineering and technical talent with growing companies across the United States, going deep into specialized industries to build long-term partnerships. In this role, you will own the full client relationship from the first meeting through successful placement. This is not a traditional sales role where you just go through the motions.

You are expected to operate as an owner of your book of business, with full accountability for revenue generation and client outcomes. We need a hunter who can establish credibility quickly, defend our pricing, and confidently handle objections from technical leaders.

What You'll Do
  • Run discovery and follow-up meetings with prospective clients, presenting pricing and establishing undeniable value.
  • Secure signed agreements, negotiate contract terms, and handle complex objections without flinching.
  • Lead detailed intake calls to gather precise requirements for technical roles and coordinate seamlessly with our recruiting team.
  • Influence hiring manager behavior, push stalled conversations forward, and create urgency where none exists.
  • Manage and expand existing accounts to maximize lifetime value while generating your own outbound opportunities to supplement the pipeline.
What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in consultative B2B sales, ideally within staffing, recruiting, IT, Managed Services, Industrial Equipment, or Commercial Insurance.
  • The ability to hold your ground when discussing money, defending premium pricing, and navigating complex client dynamics.
  • High ownership, high urgency, and a competitive mindset to push deals across the finish line.
  • The discipline and organizational skills required to manage a high-volume pipeline without letting details slip.
  • A proactive approach where you do not wait for direction but instead actively seek out difficult conversations and drive results.

If you are a high-accountability professional who refuses to operate with a bare-minimum mentality, we want you on our team.
