Job Skills / RequirementsInner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting Licensed, Unarmed Professional Security Officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team for Parking Lot Patrol in Austin.
About the PositionLicensed Unarmed Parking Lot Patrol
Pay rate: $18.00/hour, paid every week!
Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am
Requirements:
Candidate must have TOPS II or TOPS III, be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Apply today! Retirees and Veterans are welcome. Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Perform both regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
- Report any security‑related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
- When necessary, perform control procedures.
- Operate emergency equipment.
- Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
- Investigate breaches of property.
- Excellent customer service and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Sound communication skills.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to work as a team member and solo.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
- Reliable transport.
- Active cellphone.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
Job Requirements
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and quickly in emergencies.
- Must be able to read and interpret written information under various circumstances.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle during duties if required.
- Must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting background noises (e.g., machinery, traffic).
- Must be able to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
- Must maintain good mental health and make instant decisions during emergencies.
- Must meet the state physical and mental requirements for licensing as a Security Guard or Officer, and obtain the required license (Armed or Unarmed).

Education Requirements (All)High school diploma or equivalent.
