Position:Global Security Mapping Specialist
Location:
Austin, TX. The Global Security Mapping Specialist will track security devices and access levels globally, focusing on construction and maintenance of security maps. The specialist will review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve discrepancies between original and final drawings.
$25.00 per hour
ShiftSwing:
Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM
- Security experience – at least 1 year
- Adobe Illustrator and access control experience; strong technology proficiency required
- Ensure accuracy of security data across multiple systems and drawings
- Create security drawings from project data, installation notes, and CAD drawings
- Maintain security drawings for various Global Security teams
- Escalate and follow up on discrepancies in security drawings
- Perform regular audits of system software to ensure accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication in a team environment
- Able to work in a fast‑paced security environment
- Aptitude for learning various systems and applications
- Preferred experience in Lenel, Adobe Illustrator, Vid Sys, and Milestone
- Working knowledge of Mac operating system
- Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
- Ability to learn and utilize art/graphic design software
- Able to work independently and within a team on daily tasks and projects
- Previous experience within a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment
- AutoCAD experience
