Security Officer - Armed Patrol Certified

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at an educational location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with post orders;
Support emergency response activities, assist with de-escalation during tense interactions, and provide visible presence during scheduled events, high-traffic periods, and after-hours operations
