Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with de‑escalation during tense interactions, and provide visible presence during scheduled events, high‑traffic periods, and after‑hours operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
