Licensed, Unarmed Professional Security Officer

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting Licensed, Unarmed Professional Security Officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team for parking lot patrol in Austin.

Retirees and Veterans are welcome. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or one year of security experience is a plus; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Shift Times: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (Three shifts; 7 days a week).

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Execute control procedures when necessary.
• Operate emergency equipment.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Sound communication skills.
• Professional presentation.
• Ability to work as a team member and solo.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
• Reliable transportation.
• Active cellphone.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in emergencies.
• Ability to read and interpret written information.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle when required.
• Ability to detect relevant sounds (fire, flood, alarm, distress) amid background noise.
• Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit.
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. waist‑high when required.
• Good mental health and the capacity to make instant decisions during emergencies.
• Compliance with state licensing requirements for security officers.
