What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local management and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, access issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and report observations according to site procedures.
Support theft prevention efforts, assist with de-escalation during customer and/or employee incidents, and follow post orders related to the authorized carrying of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Guard card is required in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
