As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
* Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled access to sensitive work areas.
* Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors regarding directions, policy questions, and reported issues while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

* An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
