Event Venue And Security Manager (Experience Required)
Under the direction of the Regional Manager, the 24/7 Security Manager ensures proper building security controls, including technical projects and processes for the company by company policies and procedures; oversees and manages building staff including team leaders; and assists with large events onsite.
Pay, Benefits, and Work Location- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

- Oversee and coordinate scheduling of all staff on 24/7 Security Team
- Manage building security controls and technical projects to ensure safety and security of employees, visitors, and assets
- Oversee and manage security staff including training, coaching, and mentoring to optimize performance and ensure compliance with company policies
- Oversee and manage security licensing and tracking for 24/7 and Event Security staff to ensure compliance with local/state regulations
- Implement policies, procedures, and tracking systems aligned with local union collective bargaining agreements
- Communicate regularly with various clients to ensure accurate, up-to-date information and that client expectations are met
- Assist the Events Account Manager with major stadium events, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing operations
- Travel to local meetings acting as liaison to local law enforcement, local event management, and company staff as needed
- Lead and assist in investigations and crisis management using technology, working with clients; may provide documentation in response to legal action
- Foster and develop cooperative relationships with local law enforcement
- Handle all company equipment, including radios, computers, flashlights, uniforms, etc. properly
- Assist with other events taking place in Texas
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of security experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing people and teams
- Ability to travel locally (site is on bus and light rail lines)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience with a visitor management system
- Experience with staffing over 200 hours per week
- Experience with a building patrol touring system
- Previous military or law enforcement experience
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, or hearing while performing duties
- Required to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Occasional climbing, working in high places, stooping, bending, or reaching above shoulders; may require work in confined spaces and exposure to various weather conditions
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 45 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
