• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and/or asset protection concerns, assisting with access control, incident response, and coordination with local law enforcement when needed.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
