As an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. This driving and armed post combines customer service, communication, and quick response, with opportunities to support a people‑first team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time – Thursday 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM
Friday 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM
Saturday 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and asset protection concerns, assisting with access control, incident response, and coordination with local law enforcement when needed.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
