Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, sales floor areas, and/or loading zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, assist with access and crowd management as needed, and communicate with store leadership, team members, and/or first responders during security-related events.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
