Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thu: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, document observations and incidents, and communicate with local leadership and/or first responders as needed.
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
