We are seeking a Protective Security Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and security of federally owned, leased, or occupied facilities protected by the Federal Protective Service. Key duties include monitoring surveillance systems, inspecting buildings and access points, controlling entry, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to maintain a secure environment.

Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety.

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

Enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.

Prepare reports on activities and incidents.

Screen personnel and vehicles.

Provide first aid and assist first responders.

Operate security equipment and perform patrols.

Requirements:

Good credit history with no excessive late payments or collections.
U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident with honorable discharge from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Social Security Card issued by the SSA.
At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years armed security experience or one year law enforcement experience, or two years honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for report writing.
Ability to pass background check and obtain security clearance.
Valid driver’s license and firearm license/permit.
Pass medical and physical requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage: $31.57
Health and Welfare benefits: $4.60/hr
Pension benefits: $1.00/hr
