As a Security Officer Level III Armed Driver Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday 02:45 PM–11:30 PM;
Tuesday 02:45 PM–11:30 PM;
Saturday 06:00 AM–02:45 PM;
Sunday 12:00 PM–11:30 PM.

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting to site contacts or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and points of sale for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security‑related issues while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and incident response during busy shopping periods, special events, and deliveries, following post orders and Allied Universal procedures.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required;
  Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
