As a Security Officer Armed Site Patrol in Austin, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, perimeter, and/or receiving zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or restricted access points while maintaining awareness of retail operations, customer flow, and after-hours activity.
• Support loss prevention and security-related response efforts by addressing policy violations, assisting with access control, and/or coordinating with local law enforcement when appropriate.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
