Your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of various events, control access for guests, and maintain a secure atmosphere. This position plays a crucial role in preventing incidents and adhering to safety standards.

• Control access for guests and personnel attending events.
• Vigilantly monitor event areas for unauthorized individuals, suspicious behavior, and safety risks.
• React promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies.
• Provide help and information to guests when necessary.
• Write incident reports and keep precise records of activities.
• Enforce event rules and regulations to guarantee a secure environment.

• A valid Texas Security Guard License is mandatory.
• Prior experience in event security is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are critical attributes.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.

• This is a part-time position.
• Shifts may include evenings and weekends depending on event schedules.
• Competitive pay starting at $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

• Responding swiftly to emergencies by following established emergency protocols, including first aid, CPR, AED use, and fire safety.
• Managing crowd control and conflict resolution to create a safe and pleasant environment for all.
• Documenting security incidents and unusual activities in detailed reports.
• Patrolling event areas to identify potential hazards or security weaknesses, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
• Assisting with lifting or manual tasks needed for event setup or breakdown.

• Strong monitoring skills using CCTV systems and other surveillance tools.
• Background in military or law enforcement is beneficial for managing high-pressure situations effectively.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety for confident emergency response.
• Proficient in writing incident reports with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Experience with access control systems and performing background checks for authorized entry.
• Skilled in conflict management and customer service to ensure positive interactions while maintaining safety.
• Knowledgeable in physical security practices, including Taser use and firearm handling (where permitted).
• Capacity to perform routine patrols, CCTV monitoring, loss prevention, and compliance with security regulations in diverse settings.
