As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Assessment in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and provide directions or assistance in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
