As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed East Austin in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related equipment in accordance with site procedures; report access concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
