We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guards to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and responding to incidents professionally and efficiently.

We have part-time, on-call flex positions available across day, evening, and night shifts. Hours vary week to week based on your availability and client needs; some weeks may involve just a few shifts, while others can approach full-time hours (up to 40/week), depending on scheduling and demand. We typically provide at least one week's advance notice on scheduling, so you can plan ahead.

Ideal candidates must be vigilant, responsible, and capable of handling potentially volatile situations with professionalism. Pay starts at $25.00 per hour, with rates up to $27.00 per hour depending on experience and scheduling flexibility.

Minimum Certification:
Active Level III Commissioned Security Officer License in the State of Texas

Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Weekend Availability preferred.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Austin, TX 78702, or be willing to relocate prior to starting
• Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus

• Conflict management and de-escalation techniques
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action
  
  Conduct security inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Enforce rules and regulations related to access control and loss prevention
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies
