Security Officer Full Time Driver Site Assessment in Austin, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and following established protocols when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, daily activities, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
