Mechanical Technicians

$25 to $40 per hour + Overtime + Benefits

Mechanical field technician needed for installation, rebuild, and maintenance of cooling towers serving commercial and industrial facilities. Work involves structural steel, fiberglass components, rotating equipment, and mechanical assemblies. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role suited for hourly trades professionals.

• Install and assemble cooling tower structures including steel framing, fiberglass panels, fill media, drift eliminators, fan stacks, and related components
• Perform mechanical installation of motors, gearboxes, drive shafts, bearings, couplings, and supports
• Execute tower rebuilds, retrofits, structural repairs, and component replacements
• Perform alignment of fans and drive systems
• Assist with piping tie‑ins and mechanical connections
• Support basic motor terminations and VFD hookups as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and field layouts
• Operate hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and aerial lifts
• Work at heights using fall protection systems
• Travel to project sites as required

• 2+ years of mechanical field experience in industrial construction, millwright work, structural steel, cooling towers, or industrial maintenance
• Experience working with structural steel and fiberglass components
• Proficient with hand and power tools in industrial environments
• Ability to read and execute work from mechanical drawings
• Valid driver’s license

• Cooling tower installation or rebuild experience
• Millwright, ironworker, or industrial maintenance background
• Experience in power plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, or large commercial sites
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Rigging or lift certification

• Outdoor and industrial environments
• Regular lifting of 50+ lbs
• Climbing ladders and working at elevation
• Overtime as project demands require
