Overview

Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday+ weekends as needed.
Pay: $70,000-$105,000 annual salary plus bonuses.

What You’ll Do
  • Deal with escalated calls by expertly servicing customers’ entire needs.
  • Meet Daily, Monthly, and annual goals and department budget
  • The electrical manager is responsible for setting up and maintaining their electrician's dispatch board
  • Supervise any Installation, and repair calls if needed
  • Train and supervise the use of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
  • Review/ edit / change the Pricebook with VP of Operations
  • Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goal for your department
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of electrical products and services.
  • Review all callbacks and provide appropriate training
  • Conduct monthly truck inspections so that it is always neat and clean on the inside and outside.
  • Conduct and host actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats.
  • Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
  • Self-starter, reliable, flexible with hours

  • Understanding of the current regulations within the field
  • Ability to train a technical workforce
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Associate degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years’ of experience in the electrical trade
  • 2+ years of management experience
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Work both indoors and outdoors
  • Would be exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures
  • Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
  • Must be able to work with sharp tools and electricity that could potentially produce cuts or burns
  • Wear safety attire often, such as goggles or other protective clothing
  • Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
  • Will be exposed to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from roofs and scaffolding
  • Will work around exposed contaminants
  • Must be able to work in cramped workplaces, such as crawl spaces under floors.
  • Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
  • Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time
  • Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
  • Operate handheld power tools
  • Wear personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
