This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment, ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment and maintain records relating to maintenance.
- Provide proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment to support aircraft services.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Able to program and understand the functions of the Rapid Charger, including the Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID).
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the equipment.
- Ability to perform an accident inspection on involved equipment.

GSE/Diesel Mechanic Level 3
- Must have 2 to 4 years of Diesel Mechanic experience/background
- Coursework in diesel mechanic
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess valid US driver’s license
- Must have authorization to work in the USA
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- All mechanics are required to perform all duties of other positions as needed due to operational need
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport Badges
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
