Plumbing Helper Laborer

General Laborer for Plumbing Company Overview

We are growing and are in need of field workers. Candidate will be required to assist with repairs in a laborer and plumbing helper capacity. The candidate will preferably have experience mixing concrete and applying concrete patches as well as repairing rebar prior to patching. This person will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.

• Assist with repairs in a laborer and plumbing helper capacity.
• Perform basic labor tasks, such as digging holes and trenches, cutting openings, and working with pipes.
• Operate tools for chipping, jack hammering, or cutting with a concrete saw as necessary.
• Mix concrete and apply concrete patches; repair rebar prior to patching.
• Clean and maintain work areas; ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Collaborate with others on repair projects under the direction of the field manager or plumber.
• Potential to grow within the company by gaining skills in leak detection or plumbing-related areas.

• Work Week:
  Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm, some days 8:00am to 6:00pm depending on jobsite locations as services are provided in San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas.
• Occasional weekends/nights possible for commercial projects with extra pay; some travel outside the metro area may be required.

• Pay listed is commensurate with experience. Pay increase considered after training (90 days) based on job performance.
• Weekly pay plus monthly performance bonuses.

• Valid Texas Driver's License with GOOD driving record; must pass background check and driving record check.
• Must have good customer service skills; ability to lift/push/pull reasonable weight and dig with manual tools.
• Concrete patching and deck repair experience required; no plumbing repair experience required or needed.
• Demonstrate ability to use field-related software apps on iPad.
• Good written communication skills preferred.
