Houston, TX
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour
Position OverviewSeeking an Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial alarm and security systems. This role supports both installation and service work while ensuring high-quality customer experience and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Install and service commercial alarm systems
- Install alarm devices, panels, and accessories
- Program and configure alarm systems
- Test systems to ensure proper functionality
- Diagnose and repair system issues and connectivity problems
- Train customers on system usage and best practices
- Complete service reports and document all work performed
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations
- 2+ years of experience in electronic security or alarm systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PC hardware/software, networking, and databases (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Preferred Certifications (not required):
Honeywell, DMP, Bosch
