Your Role as a Fire Alarm Technician:
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. You will be involved in various projects, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and test fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Run and install cables, wires, and mounting hardware.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project success.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Document project progress and complete necessary paperwork.
Background Profile:
2+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
Proficiency in installing and configuring fire alarm systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
