Service Technician - HVAC BAS Control in Austin

Entech Sales & Service LLC is a proven industry leader in Building Automation, Access Control/Digital Video Management Systems, Commercial Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Portable/Rental Generators. We currently have an opening for an experienced Building Automation Systems Service Technician located in Austin, TX.

• Perform system commissioning, startup, and verification for new BAS installations.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues in Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, including sensors, actuators, VFDs, and controllers.
• Load and configure controller firmware, trends, alarms, and graphics for platforms such as Schneider Electric Eco Struxure.
• Support building networks using BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Identify and implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) through system data analysis and calibration.
• Maintain precise records of work orders, as‑built drawings, and system backups.

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree in HVAC or Electronics preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or building automation controls.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and mechanical plans.

Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with a clean record.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.

• Texas ACR Technician Registration or Certified Technician status with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Advanced certifications such as SE Eco Struxure or Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
• Experience with Carrier Automated Logic (WebCTRL) or Trane Tracer SC+ platforms.
