Garage Door Technician

We are seeking a Garage Door Technician who will repair, replace, and install garage doors at customer sites.

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, operators, springs, and other parts.
• Educate customers on repair options and explain work performed.
• Sell services and new equipment using a good/better/best model and collect payment.
• Manage inventory and tools in the company‑provided vehicle.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every job.

• Maximize time by meeting customer needs efficiently.
• Ensure quality work the first time.
• Deliver excellent customer service to earn glowing reviews.
• Adhere to safety protocols while driving and working.

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying temperatures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability and ability to follow processes in a fast‑paced environment.

• Preferred but not required experience in the garage door industry.
• Comfort with computers and/or tablets.
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment.

During the 12‑week training period, base pay is $17.50‑$19.50 per hour. After training, technicians earn commissions, with most making between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
