About the RoleWe’relooking for a dependable and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of a luxury condominium community. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role plays a keypartin keepingcommon areasand residential unitsoperatingsmoothly, safely, and efficiently. This isa great opportunity for someone with hands-on skills who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality work.
What You’ll Do- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs incommon areasand residential units.
- Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
- Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
- Support move-ins and move-outs by preparingcommon areasandassistingwithlogistics.
- Escort vendors and contractors,operatefreight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
- Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
- Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.
- General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Should know how to use a volt/ohm meter properly
- Sheetrock, caulking, and paint experience
- Doors/hardware repair experience
- Swimming pool- CPO preferred but willing to train/certify
- Understand and operate a power washer
- Grasp of basic plumbing and electrical systems and repairs
- Introductory understanding of HVAC is preferred; knowledge of electric heaters is a plus
- Previous high-rise, apartment, or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Basic customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.
