Senior Electrician
Location: HUSTON-TILLOTSON UNIVERSITY -
Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $15.00 per hour - $50.56 per hour
What You’ll Do:As a Senior Electrician at Sodexo Magic, you are a problem solver, and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. You will also oversee installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading systems and equipment.
Responsibilities include:- Serves as a lead electrician repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
- Verify and implement preventive maintenance standards on all electrical distribution equipment.
- Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
- Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
- 5 or more years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and other codes related to work performed.
- Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
- Minimum requirement is Electrician’s license.
