HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician
, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems.
• Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
• Ensure facility systems are functioning optimally by calibrating, inspecting, and replacing parts as needed.
• Record readings, make adjustments, and document maintenance activities to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety procedures, maintain a clean work environment, and identify hazards to promote a safe workplace.
• Chillers (understanding pumps/towers) electrical infrastructure knowledge (how to operate and start a generator; perform rounds, etc.) Understanding of UPS (uninterrupted power supply) Understanding of ATS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5‑7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
