Position:
Licensed Irrigation Technician 3
Only seeking applicants local to the greater Austin area.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturday).
Hours: start to finish job depends on the last job completed.
The role requires: a minimum of 3 years irrigation experience and a valid Licensed Irrigator Tech 3 license.
CompensationCommission + Bonuses.
What You’ll Bring- Licensure: valid "Irrigation Technician" or "Licensed Irrigator" license in Texas.
- Driver’s license: valid with an issue date at least five years prior to application.
- Minimum 3 years irrigation experience.
- General knowledge of sprinkler system maintenance and repairs; piping and connection techniques.
- Familiarity with all sprinkler controllers and ability to set them up.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure.
- Desired experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines.
- Dependable and self‑motivated; desire to work year‑round.
- Ability to use and navigate electronic tablets/phones, email, text, etc.
- Ability to work inside/outside for long periods, sometimes extreme temperatures.

- Repair all types of irrigation plumbing, ensuring all connections are leak‑proof and up to code.
- Carefully excavate sprinkler heads and pipes for repair; clean and clear the work area after completion.
- Rebuild and replace damaged valves, solenoids, and flush ports; read and understand diagrams.
- Answer basic client questions about their system and train the customer on controller use.
- Provide simple estimates.
- Understand current water ordinances and restrictions; perform basic multimeter processes.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times with customers, employees, and supervisors.
