As a Business Installation and Repair Technician, you will install and maintain telecommunication systems and equipment in the growing Internet of Things market, travel as required, and provide best-in-class customer service.
Essential Responsibilities- Install and maintain various voice, data, security, and VoIP communication systems and equipment.
- Ensure work orders are completed, building on customer service skills.
- Drive to customer locations in a defined geographic area to perform installation of services.
- Utilize a laptop and software applications to complete work tasks.
- One to five years of experience in telecommunications networks or similar electrical fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.
- Travel required with company-provided vehicle.
- Home-based dispatching role.
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces, and all weather conditions deemed safe.
- Weekend and on-call work as needed.
