U-HAUL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
U-Haul seeks skilled technicians for preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks, ensuring our fleet remains in top condition.
Primary Responsibilities- Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
- Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
- Perform tire and brake maintenance.
- Occasionally road-test vehicles.
- Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
- Assist in additional areas as needed following supervisor guidance.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Basic computer skills.
While performing duties, you should be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted, and be able to move frequently, standing, sitting, and working beneath equipment.
