Key responsibilities- Operate bulldozers, excavators, graders, compactors, haul trucks, and backhoes
- Move earth, dig trenches, load materials, and perform grading operations
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine equipment checks
- Follow blueprints, site plans, and supervisor instructions
- Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and crew members
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and job-site safety regulations
- Assist with physically demanding tasks when required
- Operate machinery in varied weather and site conditions
- Minimum 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Experience with excavation, grading, and civil/site development projects
- CDL or heavy equipment certification preferred
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade stakes
- Physical stamina for long shifts in demanding environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Austin, TX
