Mechanic II Shop

Job Overview

Future Infrastructure, a Primoris Company, has an immediate opening for a Fleet Shop Mechanic II in Creedmoor, TX.

• Ensure quality of mechanical work performed on machinery and equipment with accuracy of paperwork related to these items.
• Plan, organize and prioritize repairs and maintenance as needed to efficiently manage and coordinate assigned work volumes and unexpected or emergency repairs.
• Perform oil changes and routine preventative maintenance on various equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, performing ultimate repair of equipment. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, small engines, all types of diesel and gas engines.
• Welding and fabrication.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with trade school or mechanical background.
• DOT Certified.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Windows-based software.
• English required.

• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an as-needed basis.
• Standing, walking, including uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.
• Close vision is required for some tasks and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
