- Provides leadership for those reporting to you by clearly communicating the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Power.
- Plans, coordinates and organizes people, equipment, tools, and materials to promote the safe, efficient, and timely construction of the project.
- Ensures that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
- Maintains accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, timesheets, photos, and daily management reports. (Procore)
- May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out a sequence of activities for assigned crew.
- Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.
- Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations.
- Develops and conducts toolbox meetings; communicates safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to lead and crews.
- Ensures that crew members clock in and out daily to log work hours.
- Monitors compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all FSP policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of construction experience required.
- Active Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License Required.
- Ability to travel and work varying shifts as needed to include weekends and overtime. Valid Driver’s License Required.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
- Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs, and climb ladders
- Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs routinely
- Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and lift
- Ability to work in 30-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet and dry conditions
